On Feb 19, 2019 I went to the Tim Hecker + Konoyo Ensemble show at National Sawdust in Brooklyn. I intended to record it to create something similar to A Scattered Bootleg, which I made a few months prior. After playing around with the recording, though, I realized it really should be "extended", not "scattered". Using my GRAN_EXT (granular extender) engine in Max/MSP, I progress through the 44 minute recording at 100x slower than real-time, creating a piece that is 73 hours in duration.

The excerpt on Soundcloud is a 100-minute version that was extended from a single minute of the concert recording, and saved as an audio file.

The full piece is streaming live from the Max/MSP patch in an eternal loop, lasting over 73 hours each cycle.
